I started frequenting Top Pot in college, my order consisting of an americano and maple old fashioned doughnut after intramural flag football games in the fall. Top Pot is probably my favorite café in the nation. Sounds like a bold statement, but to me, it’s backed by their amazing attention to detail found in the quality of their coffee. What’s not to love about craft coffee paired with tantalizing, freshly baked doughnuts?!
Over the years I have admired Top Pot’s delicate balance of local growth, with new locations springing out of quaint neighborhoods (and massive stadiums), all while maintaining that impressive and consistent quality. Their co-founder, Mark Klebeck, is frequenting our office these days, and building a relationship with him has been a delight. I love working with people who share the vision of using business as a tool to help others and together, MiiR and Top Pot are giving clean drinking water to those who need it.
Since the foundation of MiiR and as a 10+ year resident of Seattle, I have dreamed of working with “my” local coffee shop. Finally the moment has arrived! And what an arrival I’d say. The MiiR 12 oz tumbler, coupled with Top Pot’s hand forged slogan – literally forged into the tumbler – is a cup worth owning. Next time you’re in the area, be sure to stop by one of Top Pot’s 15 locations and grab a maple old fashioned and a MiiR + Top Pot tumbler for your americano or latte.
